This striking Alocasia owes its name to the soft, velvety leaves. Unlike some other Alocasias, the ‘Black Velvet’ has a compact habit. The plant is not very complicated when it comes to care and likes a lot of, but indirect, sunlight.

The Alocasia Black Velvet is a ‘dwarf alocasia’ and is known for its compact shape and can be, therefore, easily kept as a houseplant. When watering, make sure that the soil of this plant must be continuously slightly moist and that a lot of indirect sunlight is desired.
