The Hoya Carnosa ‘Krimson Queen’ has thick green leaves with a white outline. In some cases even a green-white variegated leaf. Due to the long tendrils, the plant can hang as well as climb, although you do have to lend it a hand. When the Hoya blooms, it has small star-shaped flowers.
Please note: this plant can currently only be picked up in the store or delivered in Rotterdam with the bicycle courier.

The Hoya is also known as ‘wax flower’ because of the flowers that smell like the sweetish scent that clean laundry can have. You can smell this, especially in the evenings. The plant likes to hang/stand in a place with a lot of indirect sunlight, but not too light, and likes continuously slightly moist soil. The long tendrils of the plant first continue to grow, before leaves appear. Clipping causes growth to stagnate.
