The SingingFriend Nina Nest Box is an elegant and robust bird house. The entrance opening is suitable for the most common garden birds. You can therefore expect different residents. Preferably choose a spot with the entrance opening to the north or east. This will prevent it from raining inside. When there is some extra shelter in the area, this increases the chance of new residents. Check the website of De Vogelbescherming for more tips.
We recommend emptying and cleaning the nesting box at the end of the season. Preferably in the month of October. Then the birds have fledged and there is the greatest chance that the nest box will not be used. Do leave the nest box hanging during the winter months because the birds often use it to hide or sleep.
