This peanut butter is specially made for garden birds. Regular peanut butter contains to much salt and is unhealthy for birds. For this variant there are insects and nuts added to the peanut butter. This makes it a tasty high energy treat.
You can use the peanutbutter year round but is most welcome in wintertime. Birds can use the extra energy. It is good to combine the peanut butter together with the nutrition mix.
