The Philodendron is easy to maintain. It requires little water – is even sensitive to a lot of water – and does well in less sunlight. The Philodendron Xanadu is the slightly lesser-known sister of the Monstera from the Arum family and has beautiful, strong green leaves. It is striking that this Philodendron does not develop aerial roots and therefore does not climb. When the plant loses its leaves, a pattern appears on the trunks that is reminiscent of a giraffe’s neck.
€21,99 – €35,00
The soil of the Philodendron Xanadu should be kept slightly moist in summer and spring. The plant uses little water and is even sensitive to too much water. Therefore, keep in mind that the plant does not get water too often and only water the plant again when the soil starts to dry. In winter, the soil may even be dry for a week. It is recommended to spray the plant once a week. Do you want to make sure that your plant gets the right amount of water? Then add the pot with water reservoir or Blumat Classic to your order.
Philodendrons do well with less light. Avoid direct sunlight and place the plant about 5 to 6 meters from a south-facing window. As a result, the plant receives approximately a maximum of 3 hours of sunshine per day.
During the growth period, the Xanadu may receive weekly nutrition, this is not necessary in the winter and at least during the autumn months. Philondendrons are usually poisonous, keep away from your pets (particularly cats).
